How to Make the Best Starbucks Banana Bread
This Starbucks Banana Bread Recipe is a quick bread or a no yeast bread and just like muffins, requires a light hand when mixing. In fact, you really don’t mix at all – more like folding the dry ingredient mixture into the wet ingredients.
Over mixing might give you a nice smooth batter, but I can guarantee your Banana Bread will be dry and tough. And that would be just so disappointing! So the lesson here is to treat your batter lovingly and gently mix it together.
Step One: Preheat the oven to 325.
Step Two: Grease a 9x5x3 loaf pan and dust with flour.
Step Three: Blend the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
Step Four: Mix the egg, sugar, and vegetable oil until combined.
Step Five: Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture and when blended, add the buttermilk, vanilla, and mashed bananas; mix well.
Step Six: Fold 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts and pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Step Seven: Top the batter with the remaining 1/3 cup of walnuts.
Step Eight: Bake for 45-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.

Variations
The great thing about making this copycat Starbucks banana bread recipe is that it’s made with simple ingredients so you can change things up some if you’d like.
I like to also add in a hint of cinnamon sometimes because it’s a great way to add a pop of warmth while I’m sipping my hot cup of coffee.
You can also easily add in chocolate chips instead of the chunks of chocolate as well!
Some people like to add in an extra banana, so if you’re a banana lover, that may be a great choice for you, too! You get to decide how much banana flavor you have in your slice of Starbucks banana bread!
How to store
To keep this Starbucks copycat banana bread recipe as fresh as possible, you need to be sure that you’re storing this delicious recipe the right way. I always wrap my bread in saran wrap and then store it in an airtight container as well. I leave my bread stored at room temperature also but you can store it in the fridge if you want.
The great thing about making this delicious sweet bread is that it’s freezer-friendly, too. Sometimes I’ll even whip up two of this easy copycat banana bread recipe and eat one fresh, and put the other delicious bread in the freezer.
If you do freezer this copycat bread, be sure to invest in a good freezer bag so that the tender banana bread doesn’t get dried out.

- Blend the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- Mix the egg, sugar, and vegetable oil until combined.
